Scholasticus Sciurus

As seasons turn and leaves let go,

And winter lays the woods in snow,

A tiny fire crackles, warm and bright,

Scholasticus Sciurus reads by firelight.

For wisdom grows in those who seek,

Who question much and wonder deep.

For just as trees must bend and grow,

There's always more for us to know.
